Full Time / Rotating Shift

40 hours per week, rotating shift. Must be available to work any 8‑hour shift, any day of the week, including weekends.

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Associate’s Degree in Business Administration, Criminal Justice, Law Enforcement, Security, or a closely related field preferred

• 2 years of experience in security, law enforcement, or military preferred
• Texas Private Security Level 3 preferred

• Driver’s License (Class C and insurable) required upon hire
• ACPI – Advanced Crisis Prevention Intervention Training required annually (30 days)
• NCSO – Non‑Commissioned Security Officer (Level
  2) required (120 days). Not required if Level 3 held
• CSO – Commissioned Security Officer (Level
  3) biannual recertification (120 days). 2 attempts permitted
• TASER Certification – Complete Course & Certification required; annual recertification (120 days). 2 attempts permitted

• Patrol buildings and clinics for unlocked secured areas for after‑hour entry
• Lock and open doors according to schedules
• Provide individual and group escorts to and from parking areas
• Identify and remove unauthorized individuals from property
• Maintain compliance with Texas Health Police policies
• Pursue and detain persons involved in criminal activity
• Fill out incident/offense report forms and compose narratives
• Utilize critical thinking skills and adjust force level appropriately
• Respond to and activate appropriate emergency response codes
• Interact with and provide assistance to Police, Fire, EMS, and other emergency staff as required
