The Security Manager & Compliance Assistant is responsible for safeguarding product integrity, intellectual property, and manufacturing processes within the trading card production facility. This role ensures that all security protocols, quality standards, and compliance requirements are consistently implemented and enforced to prevent theft, counterfeiting, unauthorized access, and compliance fulfillment. The position reports directly to the Director of Quality & Compliance.

Responsibilities Security & Asset Protection
  • Develop, implement, and enforce facility security policies to protect raw materials, printed sheets, finished goods, and proprietary assets.
  • Oversee physical security systems including access controls, surveillance, badge systems, and visitor management.
  • Conduct regular security audits, investigations, and risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities.
  • Coordinate incident response for security breaches, theft, loss, or suspected counterfeiting.
  • Train staff in security awareness, chain-of-custody protocols, and loss prevention best practices.
  • All other duties as assigned
Compliance & Reporting
  • Enforce compliance with internal policies, licensing partner requirements, and contractual security and quality standards.
  • Prepare reports and metrics related to security incidents, compliance trends, and audit findings for leadership review.
  • Support internal and external audits, including those conducted by licensors or regulatory bodies.
  • Collaborate with production, warehouse, and logistics teams to ensure secure and compliant workflows.
  • Monitor and verify that production personnel accurately enter and track raw material usage to the correct job numbers; address discrepancies and elevate issues as needed.
  • Follow up on training effectiveness
Leadership & Collaboration
  • Act as a liaison between operations, and compliance teams to align security and compliance objectives.
  • Assist the Director of Quality & Compliance with policy development, continuous improvement initiatives, risk mitigation strategies and trainings.
  • Provide guidance and oversight to security staff and production personnel, as applicable.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor s degree in quality management, Criminal Justice, Security certifications, Military, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3 5+ years of experience in manufacturing security, customer relations, or compliance-focused roles.
  • Experience in print, packaging, collectibles, or high-value consumer goods manufacturing preferred.
  • Strong understanding of access control, surveillance systems, and quality management principles.
  • Excellent investigative, documentation, and communication skills.
  • High level of integrity and discretion.
