This position is a combined role and will be based from one of our Veolia Service Centers in the Arlington, TX area. When working from base the position will be an integral part of the facility maintenance team or potentially fabrication shop (depending on location). Due to the growth of the Services business, this position will be called upon to travel to other Veolia Service Centres mainly based in their region (South/West/Central or East/North/Central NAM).

Purpose of the travel will be for facility expansion or upgrade projects and sometimes at customer sites.

During the periods away from base the main function of this position will be on-site execution of Veolia facility CAPEX projects. Core function of the role will be mechanical installation, repair or upgrade activities. This role will perform duties to the highest standard with regard to professional attitude toward work and safety. When working from the base Service Center the role will ensure installation of equipment, machinery, general repairs are carried out efficiently and properly.

• Travel to remote facilities to support on-site installation and maintenance of CAPEX projects
• Strict adherence to all EHS standards in accordance with both Veolia and site guidelines
• Ability to read and implement engineering drawings and P&’s, Works according to project engineering standard

• Travel to Veolia facilities or customer sites for on-site installation of CAPEX projects
• Estimated travel at 50-75%
• Works to best EHS standards, policies or procedures
• Works in according to the install lead directions & maintains clear communication to ensure smooth and efficient operations
• Is available on-call for emergency needs to maintain project install schedule
• Works according to the facility maintenance leader directions
• Demonstrates excellent EHS standards and follows policies/procedures in order to keep self and others injury free
• Install new equipment or re-arranges existing equipment
• Performs preventative maintenance activities at the facility or within the ‘Mobile’ fleet
• Reliable and thorough approach to work
• Perform building and ground maintenance
• Follow good housekeeping practices by keeping maintenance and tool storage area neat and clean as well as timely cleanup of work area after each job is completed
• Perform confined space entry in small tanks with 14x18' manways
• Maintain records and reports as directed by immediate supervisor

• Ability and willingness to perform physical duties such as lifting, climbing, working at elevated heights, and manual dexterity
• Ability and willingness to work confined space entry
• Ability and willingness to work in range of environments to include but not limited to industrial facilities, manufacturing facilities, and power industry facilities
• Ability and willingness to read documents and implement such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
• Ability and willingness for on call status for emergency response
• Ability and willingness to travel for install and repair if needed
• Ability and willingness to travel where needed.

• High School Diploma, G.E.D., Home School Certification, or international equivalent to High School Diploma
• Minimum of 1 year of PVC plumbing, OR mechanical repair and maintenance work experience or training

• 1+ year of repair and maintenance work experience
