Dallas- Lead Alarm Tech

Responsibilities

• The lead tech must coordinate daily duties, submit daily reports, and work with managers.
• Pre-wire and install security systems including access control, CCTV, and intrusion alarms.
• Work with other techs and Project Managers, completing and filing all project documentation.
• Install, test, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain all security systems at customer sites.
• Ensure installations of video surveillance systems, IP and analog cameras, wireless, access control panels, intrusion panels, magnetic locks, card readers, motion sensors, door contacts, and electric door strikes.
• Perform assigned projects within scope, on time, and on budget.
• Provide customers with system operation training.
• Maintain concise daily records and follow operational standards.
• Coordinate project scheduling with Project Management and Field Technicians.

To successfully perform this position, the employee is regularly required to stand, climb, walk, sit, push, pull, squat, crawl, and stoop. The employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, feel objects, and type on a keyboard; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. Specific vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

The use of power tools will be required. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Expert Level

Contract to Hire position based out of Arlington, TX.

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $31.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Arlington, TX.
