Description
The lead tech needs to be able to get the techs lined up on duties for the day, submit daily reports and coordinate with the managers. Technicians will be pre‑wiring and installing security systems, including access control, CCTV and intrusion alarms. Need to work with other techs and Project Managers by completing and filing all project documentation and working together. Technicians will be working on a variety of commercial installations including hospitals, airports, corporate offices.
- Install, test, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain all security systems at customer sites.
- Installation will include, but not limited to:
Video surveillance systems, IP and analog cameras, wireless, access control panels, intrusion panels, magnetic locks, card readers, motion sensors, door contacts, electric door strikes, etc. - Perform assigned projects within scope, in a timely manner, and on budget.
- Provide customers with system operation and training.
- Excellent attention to detail including maintaining concise daily records and following operational standards and practices.
- Coordinate with Project Management and Field Technicians for project scheduling.

Must have PPE before starting:
Hard hat with chin straps, safety glasses, steel‑toed shoes, vest.
Physical demands: regularly required to stand, climb, walk, sit, push, pull, squat, crawl, stoop; use hands to finger, handle, feel objects, type on keyboard; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, ability to adjust focus. Use of power tools required. Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Arlington, TX.
Pay And BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $28.00 - $31.00/hr.
