We are seeking a skilled Appliance Repair Technician to join our team in the DFW, TX greater area. In this role, you will travel to customers’ homes, diagnose and repair their existing appliances. The ideal candidate is friendly, reliable, and has the technical skills to get the job done. Customer satisfaction is a top priority.
Responsibilities- Respond to client requests for appliance service
- Evaluate and diagnose home appliance problems
- Repair appliances
- Adhere to manufacturer recommendations
- Maintain accurate and detailed records
- High school diploma/GED
- Associates degree or appliance repair certification preferred
- Previous experience as an Appliance Repair Technician is preferred
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- EPA 608 refrigerant recovery certification to work on air conditioners and refrigerators is preferred
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects
Excellent customer service skills
Diagnosis, Reading Test Equipment, Handling Refrigerant, Operating Company Equipment For Refrigerant Recovery, Brazing, Following The Order Of Dispatched Calls As Well Other Duties In Regard To Refrigeration Repair, long distance drive times.
Repairs IncludeSealed systems repair, Evaporator Coils, Replace Doors, Ice Makers, Dispensers
Relevant Hands On TrainingSuper Heat & Sub Cooling, Brazing and wiring of various HVAC equipment, Recovery, Using multi-meter.
The ideal candidate must be good at interacting with customers and providing excellent customer service in the field, and also.
