Maintenance Technician

Job Overview

KPM is seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. This full-time role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation and upkeep of our residential properties. The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for performing a variety of repair and maintenance tasks to ensure the safety, comfort, and satisfaction of our residents.

• Perform routine maintenance and repair work including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and painting
• Respond promptly and effectively to maintenance requests and emergency repairs
• Assist with apartment make-ready tasks between residents
• Conduct regular inspections of property facilities and equipment
• Maintain tools, equipment, and supply inventory in good condition
• Collaborate with team members and property management to ensure maintenance goals are met
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations
• Support special maintenance projects as assigned

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certifications a plus
• 1-3 years’ experience in general maintenance or related field preferred
• Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry systems
• Ability to troubleshoot and perform repairs independently
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or on-call as needed
• Commitment to safety and attention to detail
• Customer service-oriented attitude and professionalism
