Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Mechanic/ Facilities Technician to support the maintenance and reliability of both production equipment and facility systems. This role is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and performing preventive maintenance on machinery and building systems to ensure safe and efficient operations.
Industrial maintenance mechanics play a critical role in keeping equipment operational by diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and completing preventative maintenance on machinery and facility systems.
Key Responsibilities- Perform preventive maintenance on production equipment and facility systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical systems)
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- Inspect machinery and equipment to identify defects and potential issues
- Repair or replace defective components such as motors, bearings, conveyors, pumps, and gearboxes
- Install, align, and test new equipment to ensure proper functionality
- Maintain and service facility infrastructure, including lighting, compressed air systems, and building systems
- Read and interpret blueprints, manuals, and schematics to perform repairs and maintenance
- Complete and document maintenance work orders using CMMS or internal systems
- Respond to emergency breakdowns and minimize downtime
- Follow all safety procedures, OSHA standards, and company guidelines
- High school diploma or GED required; technical certification or associate degree preferred
- 2+ years of experience in industrial maintenance, facilities maintenance, or mechanical repair
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems and motor controls
- Strong knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics
- Strong knowledge of mechanical troubleshooting and repair
- Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
- Experience with CMMS systems preferred
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- PLC troubleshooting experience
- Welding and fabrication skills
- HVAC or electrical certification
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting ability
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced industrial environment
This is a contract to hire position based out of Arlington, TX.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $23.00 - $28.00/hr.
