Meyer Distributing is looking for an Electrician to join our Arlington team – we are hiring immediately! Meyer Distributing is a leader in automotive specialty products marketing and warehouse distribution.

The Electrical Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing all electrical maintenance and repair work, including running electrical conduit.

License Requirement(s):

• Requires a valid driver's license with good standing
• Requires a minimum of an Apprentice Electrician License

Experience:

• Previous electrical maintenance experience preferred. Three phase knowledge is a plus.
• Training – Minimum of one month on the job training required

Requirements for Electrical Maintenance Technician:

• Familiarity with safety standards
• Ability to work a flexible schedule
• Ability to give special attention to detail
• Ability to identify letters and numbers
• Oral communication skills
• Must have the ability to lift and carry 75 pounds

Pay:

$27 to $32

Electrician duties include but are not limited to:

• Perform all electrical maintenance and repair work
• Install and maintain electrical conduit, hanging lights, etc.
• Install and maintain CAT5
• Work with 277/480V electrical systems
• Calculate amps, volts, watts, hp, etc. when needed
• Complete all maintenance jobs in a timely, efficient and professional manner
• All other duties as assigned

Must be willing to travel.
