Lead Maintenance - Waterbury

Job Overview

Maintain the overall maintenance and appearance of a 71‑unit property for current and prospective residents.

• Provide daily maintenance operations and general upkeep of the community.
• Be on‑call for 24‑hour maintenance emergencies.
• Complete grounds work such as trash pick‑up and light landscaping.
• Assist with HVAC, make‑readies, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and preventative maintenance.
• Identify parts needed, order them, and install or repair for work orders and make readies.
• Maintain a professional and courteous manner with residents, visitors, and maintenance staff.
• Handle normal maintenance and other items such as fence or picket repairs.

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least three years of experience and HVAC certification.
• Must provide and use own tools.
• Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
• Organized, self‑driven, and a “jack of all trades.”
