Maintenance Technician III
The Industrial Maintenance Mechanic / Facilities Technician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing production equipment and facility systems to ensure safe and efficient operations. This role supports both industrial machinery and building infrastructure, including mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems, to minimize downtime and maintain compliance with safety standards.
Responsibilities- Perform preventive maintenance on production equipment, including conveyors, motors, pumps, and gearboxes.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Inspect machinery to diagnose malfunctions using testing devices and diagnostic tools.
- Disassemble, repair, and reassemble equipment components as needed.
- Install, align, and test new machinery and equipment.
- Maintain and repair building systems such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and lighting.
- Perform general facility repairs including carpentry, painting, doors, walls, flooring, and roofing.
- Troubleshoot facility-related issues to ensure safe and efficient operations.
- Support facility upgrades, renovations, and coordinate with contractors.
- Mechanical Troubleshooting & Repair – Ability to diagnose and repair equipment issues to minimize downtime.
- Electrical & HVAC Systems Knowledge – Experience working with electrical components, controls, and building systems.
- Preventive Maintenance – Strong in scheduled maintenance to improve equipment reliability and lifespan.
- Hydraulics & Pneumatics – Knowledge of fluid power systems used in industrial equipment.
- Problem-Solving & Attention to Detail – Ability to quickly identify issues and implement effective solutions.
Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with PLC control and automation.
- Familiarity with power tools and hand tools.
- Experience in facility management and electrical troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of 3-phase motors and Allen-Bradley systems.
- Experience in industrial and electrical maintenance.

Work EnvironmentThe work environment is a warehouse setting, surrounded by dry cleaning machines, boilers, dryers, and conveyor systems. The position requires working from 12 pm to 11 pm, Sunday to Wednesday.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Arlington, TX.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $33.00 - $37.00/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
