- Install, configure, and maintain low voltage systems including security, fire alarms, CCTV, audio/video, and network cabling.
- Run, terminate, and label cables following project specifications and industry standards.
- Perform regular system inspections and promptly resolve issues to ensure optimal functionality.
- Provide technical support and training to end users on system operation and maintenance.
- Adhere to all applicable local, state, and federal regulations and safety guidelines during installations and repairs.
- Maintain accurate records and generate reports on system performance and maintenance activities.
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with clients to deliver tailored solutions.
- Evaluate and upgrade existing systems to enhance performance and compliance with standards.
- Proven experience in installing, configuring, and maintaining low voltage systems including security, fire alarms, CCTV, and network cabling.
- Ability to run, terminate, and label cables following industry standards and project specifications.
- Strong troubleshooting skills to promptly identify and resolve system issues, minimizing downtime.
- Knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations governing low voltage installations and repairs.
- Commitment to safety protocols to ensure a secure working environment.
- Effective communication skills to provide technical support and training to end users.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to maintain accurate records and generate performance reports.
- Collaborative mindset to work with technicians, engineers, and project managers for successful project completion.
