Compensation:$18+/hr. (based on experience) + full benefits
Southwest International Trucks
is seeking an experienced
Diesel Mechanic to join our Arlington Team
. This full-time role offers competitive pay, comprehensive benefits, and company incentives.
Key Responsibilities
:
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance on diesel vehicles and equipment
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and system failures
- Conduct failure analysis and troubleshooting of component parts and systems
- Repair and adjust engines including CAT, Cummins, Allison, and International
- Service drive trains including Eaton, Meritor, and Spicer
- Install and repair truck and engine equipment
- Utilize welding skills when applicable
- Complete assigned tasks within established time frames
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in diesel mechanics
- Ability to independently diagnose and repair major components
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting instructional manuals and diagnostic charts
- Familiarity with computer diagnostics (preferred)
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; CDL preferred
- Ownership of tools and toolbox (rent-to-own program available)

- Must be at least 18 years of age
