Job Summary: Reporting to the assigned department leader, this role is responsible for maintaining the grounds of an assigned portion of the campus.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities- Cut lawns, trim and edges around walks, flower beds, and walls
- Prune shrubs and trees to shape and improve growth; remove damaged leaves, branches, or twigs
- Clean grounds and remove litter
- Plant trees and shrubs
- Clean out drainage ditches and culverts
- Operate front-end loader and backhoe
- Make minor repairs on equipment such as lawn mower and spreader
- Attend the workplace regularly, report to work punctually, and follow a work schedule to keep up with the demands of the worksite
- Complete all required training and professional development sessions sponsored through Tarrant County College (TCC)
- Support the mission, values, goals, and principles of the College

Minimum Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED and three (3) years' working experience related to the Essential Performance Requirements, or any equivalent combination of education and work-related experience
Skills and Abilities
- Skilled with operating motor driven equipment and mechanically inclined
- Skilled in excellent customer service and interpersonal relationships

While performing the duties of this job, the employee occasionally works near moving mechanical parts and is occasionally exposed to risk of electrical shock. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet.
