Plumbing Foreman

Upchurch is seeking a Plumbing Foreman to lead field crews on complex commercial and technical projects. In this role, you'll plan and oversee plumbing installations, interpret blueprints, coordinate with project managers and other trades, and ensure work meets code, quality, and safety standards. You will organize manpower and materials, resolve on-site issues, and keep projects on schedule and within scope. As a key field leader, you'll mentor team members, promote a culture of safety and professionalism, and represent Upchurch's collaborative, client-focused values on every job.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise plumbing crews on commercial and technical projects from planning through closeout.
• Interpret blueprints, specifications, and scopes to plan layout, materials, and manpower needs.
• Coordinate daily work with project managers, general contractors, and other trades.
• Ensure work meets plumbing codes, quality standards, and client requirements.
• Monitor job progress, resolve field issues, and adjust plans to maintain schedule and budget.
• Enforce safety standards, conduct toolbox talks, and ensure OSHA compliance.
• Order and manage tools, materials, and equipment for efficient job execution.
• Train and mentor apprentices and journeyman plumbers to build team capability.
