Journeyman Electrician Position Details
- Pay Rate:$39.00 per hour

Weekly - Experience: 3+ years of industrial or commercial electrical experience
Location: Dallas, TX
Suite Mate Staffing Solutions is seeking an experienced Journeyman Electrician for a full-time, long-term opportunity in Dallas, TX. We’re looking for a skilled electrician with strong troubleshooting abilities and hands‑on experience maintaining industrial or commercial electrical systems and equipment.
Responsibilities- Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems and equipment
- Perform maintenance on motors, control panels, VFDs, pumps, generators, switch gear, and power distribution equipment
- Diagnose electrical issues using testing and diagnostic equipment
- Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and electrical schematics
- Perform preventive maintenance and emergency repairs
- Follow all electrical codes and workplace safety procedures
- Complete work orders and maintenance documentation
- Valid Texas Journeyman Electrician License required
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum 3 years of industrial or commercial electrical experience
- Strong electrical troubleshooting skills
- Ability to read electrical drawings and schematics
- Valid Texas Driver’s License or ability to obtain one prior to employment
- Experience with PLCs, SCADA systems, VFDs, or industrial motor controls is a plus
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding work as needed
