RESIDENTIAL HVAC SERVICE TECHNICIAN
LOCATION
Dallas, TX | Onsite
COMPENSATION & SCHEDULE
• $20–$30/hour, based on experience

• Full-time; on-call rotation may include evenings and weekends

• Direct Hire
ROLE IMPACT
Provide dependable residential HVAC service by accurately diagnosing equipment problems, completing repairs, and performing preventive maintenance. This role is designed for a field-experienced technician who can work independently, communicate professionally with homeowners, and help keep residential heating and cooling systems operating reliably.
KEY DUTIES

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, service, and repair residential HVAC systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and air handlers.

• Perform preventive maintenance, equipment inspections, and system cleaning.

• Identify mechanical and electrical problems and determine appropriate repair solutions.

• Complete service documentation and work orders while communicating clearly with homeowners and dispatch.

• Maintain service tools and equipment and participate in the scheduled on-call rotation.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• 1–3 years of recent, hands-on residential HVAC service experience with the ability to diagnose and troubleshoot systems independently; field experience is required.

• EPA Certification or ability to obtain shortly after hire; must own and maintain the tools required for residential HVAC service work.

• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds, climb ladders, and work in attics, crawlspaces, and outdoor conditions.

• Valid driver's license with an insurable driving record.
EQUIPMENT & WORK ENVIRONMENT

• Work involves residential heating and cooling equipment, electrical components, diagnostic meters, gauges, and standard HVAC service tools.

• Field-based work at residential properties throughout the assigned service area.
PREFERRED SKILLS

• NATE Certification.

• Technical or trade-school HVAC training combined with qualifying field experience.

• Strong homeowner communication and service documentation skills.
