Job location:
Arlington, TX 76018. Salary range: $46,000 – $49,000. We are searching for a self‑disciplined, well‑coordinated, and diplomatic professional to join the CK Family.
As a Case Management Supervisor, the role is clinical and requires the successful candidate to develop and maintain functional, supportive relationships with a variety of professionals and families who are seeking to care for children in the foster care system and/or who are seeking to adopt children. The position is responsible for the daily operation of client case management, including supervision of case managers, monitoring the progress of children in care, providing support and guidance, and training staff and adoptive/foster parents.
GeneralResponsibilities
- Provide effective oversight of Case Managers to ensure they are working efficiently and effectively, including crisis management, timely submission of required paperwork, and adequate support for assigned families.
- Timely and appropriately process serious incidents with case manager; develop and implement intervention/safety plan, notify Director of implementation.
- Report serious incidents, including suspected child abuse or neglect, immediately to the Abuse and Neglect Hotline, CPS, and Director.
- Ensure incidents are reported and documented within required time frames per Minimum Standards Table Subchapter D and Contracting Requirements; follow up until completion within 30 days of incident.
- Monthly or quarterly review of safety plans to ensure compliance and risk reduction.
- Conduct internal investigations as needed or directed.
- Monitor and keep child and family records current per CK policy via database dashboards; address non‑compliances with performance improvement plans.
- Participate in Treatment Team meetings for children’s Individual Service Plans as required.
- Ensure appropriate and timely development and routing of Individual Service Plans and service plan addendums.
- Monthly review and filing of child case notes for accuracy and compliance.
- Quarterly review of foster home reviews for accuracy, thoroughness, and documentation per agency policy, correcting and filing by end of month.
- Timely completion of developmental and deficiency plans for families, ensuring signatures within 30 days after non‑compliance date.
- Complete all other necessary documentation timely and accurately.
- Attend home visits per agency policy to assess Case Manager clinical assessment skills and provide support to Case Managers and families.
- Attend community and CK trainings to enhance clinical and professional growth.
- Represent and attend community meetings as required.
- Provide professional growth and development to Case Managers, including one‑on‑one coaching.
- Attend supervisor meetings and participate in data collection and reporting; assist team members with action plans.
- Participate in quality audits; ensure correction of charts within agency guidelines.
- Participate in review and correction of identified charts for scheduled/unscheduled audits by outside agencies such as YFT, SSCC’s, Contracting and Licensing.
- Provide support to foster/adoptive parents when Case Managers are not in the office or when higher‑level consultation is required.
- Conduct individual Case Manager conferences per CK policy, document strengths and growth areas, review annual goals quarterly; forward completed form to Human Resources.
- Conduct annual performance evaluations, develop and communicate annual goals, monitor progress and provide feedback per CK policy.
- Attend and facilitate staff and foster/adoptive parent training and development as required.
- Maintain confidentiality per government law and regulations, and comply with all Covenant Kids policies, procedures, state and federal laws.
- Maintain high standards of professional, technical, personal conduct and be a role model for others in the office.
- Perform all other duties and tasks as requested.
