About the Role

The Social Services professional plays a critical role in supporting individuals and families to improve their well‑being and quality of life. This position involves assessing client needs, developing personalized care plans, and connecting clients with appropriate community resources and services. The role requires collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive support and advocacy for vulnerable populations. The ultimate goal is to empower clients to achieve greater self‑sufficiency and resilience through guidance, counseling, and resource facilitation.

This position demands a compassionate, patient, and proactive approach to addressing complex social challenges within diverse communities across the United States.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, or a related field.
  • Valid state licensure or certification as required for social service professionals.
  • Demonstrated experience working with diverse populations in a social services or community support setting.
  • Strong knowledge of social service systems, community resources, and relevant legal regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clients and stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) or related advanced degree.
  • Experience with case management software and electronic health records.
  • Bilingual abilities, particularly in Spanish or other commonly spoken languages in the United States.
  • Training or certification in trauma‑informed care, crisis intervention, or mental health first aid.
  • Experience working with specific populations such as children, elderly, veterans, or individuals with disabilities.
Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments of clients’ social, emotional, and economic needs to develop tailored intervention plans.
  • Provide counseling and support to individuals and families facing challenges such as poverty, abuse, addiction, or mental health issues.
  • Coordinate with healthcare providers, government agencies, and community organizations to facilitate access to services and benefits.
  • Advocate on behalf of clients to ensure their rights and needs are met within various institutional frameworks.
  • Maintain detailed case records and documentation to track client progress and comply with regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss client care strategies and share relevant information.
  • Stay informed about changes in social service policies, programs, and best practices to enhance service delivery.
