Tech Lead, Web Core Product & Chrome Extension - Arlington

Overview

The mission of Speechify is to make sure that reading is never a barrier to learning. Speechify's text-to-speech products help people read faster, read more, and remember more across PDFs, books, Google Docs, news articles, and websites. Our products include the iOS app, Android app, Mac app, Chrome extension, and Web app. Speechify has been recognized by Google as Chrome Extension of the Year and by Apple as App of the Day.

We are a 100% distributed team with no office, and we collaborate with frontend and backend engineers, AI researchers, and others from leading tech companies and universities.

This is a key role for someone who thinks strategically, enjoys fast-paced environments, is passionate about shaping product decisions, and has experience building great user experiences that delight users. We are a flat organization where leadership can come from strong technical execution and consistent, fast results. Work ethic, solid communication, and obsession with winning are paramount. Our interview process involves several technical interviews, typically completed within 1 week.

• Actively ship production code to the web products
• Work closely with your dedicated product team

The United States Based salary range for this role is: ,000 USD/Year + Bonus + Stock depending on experience
