Technical Manager, Regology

Job Overview

You are responsible for developing and managing a high‑performing poly‑skilled team of software engineers to create software using DEVSECOPS and Agile/Lean principles. You will work with peers and team members to deliver great products that support the business vision while continuously optimizing engineering and product development processes.

• Provide management, coaching, and mentorship to team members to maximize team health, effectiveness, and career growth.
• Partner with product and other teams to plan and develop roadmaps that ensure maximum impact with company resources.
• Ensure high standards of technical development, including observability, stability, scalability, security, performance, and cost‑effectiveness.
• Guide the team on modern software development best practices and technical direction while offering hands‑on development and problem‑solving assistance.
• Successfully estimate and deliver large projects and architectural implementations with partners and stakeholders to ensure business value.
• Ensure adherence to established budgets for hosting, software, and consulting expenditures.
• Help foster an inclusive environment where culture is a strength in delivering results for customers, the team, and the business.
• Lead special projects and perform other duties as assigned.
• Provide hands‑on programming and coding reviews.
• Act as a bridge between teams in different countries and regions.
• Collaborate with all stakeholders to drive decision making.
• Experience working with LLMs.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information science, software engineering, or technical writing, or equivalent experience.
• 8 years of experience in software development or commensurate skills.
• Experience developing enterprise platforms and/or consumer web applications using Agile and Lean methodologies.
• Team leadership experience and strong interpersonal skills.
• Experience managing the software development lifecycle.
• Strong knowledge of AWS, Serverless, event‑driven architecture, and microservices.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript, Node.js, Java or Python, and frameworks such as React or VUE.js.
• Knowledge of data systems including SQL/RDB, No
  
  SQL, and messaging queues.
• Working experience with Dev Ops, CI/CD, and infrastructure as code.

Compensation Range: $–$. Placement in the salary range will be decided upon completion of the interview process. Salary determination will be based on relevant experience, demonstrated skills related to the role, education, certifications, and geographic location.
