Java Developer

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain cloud-native applications using Java and cloud technologies
• Implement microservices architecture and develop RESTful APIs
• Collaborate with Dev Ops teams to automate deployment processes and ensure continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD)
• Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and reliability in cloud environments
• Implement security best practices to protect cloud-native applications and data
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to application performance, reliability, and security
• Work with cross-functional teams, including architects, product managers, and other developers, to deliver high-quality software solutions
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to improve code quality and maintainability

• Experience with cloud-native development and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) with a strong preference for AWS
• Proficiency in building microservices and RESTful APIs using Java frameworks such as Spring Boot
• Experience with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, and Open Shift
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins and Git Lab
• Knowledge of database technologies, including SQL and No
  
  SQL databases
• Understanding of security best practices in cloud environments
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
• Active Secret clearance required

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Technical Science
• Previous consulting experience and understanding of customer/business needs

• U.S. citizenship required

Accenture Federal Services provides a wide variety of benefits and offers compensation ranges based on location. The base pay range for this position in the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Washington, Vermont, the District of Columbia, and Cleveland is $84,900—$160,200 USD
.
