QA Automation Engineer

NTT DATA's client is currently seeking a QA Automation Engineer to join their team in Arlington, Texas (US-TX), United States (US). The role involves designing and developing automated test scripts for web and API-based applications using Selenium Web Driver and C#. It also includes creating, maintaining, and executing BDD test scenarios using Spec Flow and Gherkin syntax, building and enhancing Page Object Model automation frameworks, and performing API testing and integrating API validation with UI automation testing for end-to-end coverage.

The QA Automation Engineer will implement and support CI/CD pipeline integration for automated test execution and reporting, collaborate with QA, Business Analysts, Product Owners, and Development teams to translate requirements into automated test cases, and maintain, refactor, and optimize existing automation frameworks and test scripts. The role also involves creating and maintaining test documentation, automation reports, and defect tracking artifacts, investigating test failures, performing root cause analysis, and mentoring junior team members on automation best practices, framework design, and testing standards.

Basic qualifications include a minimum of 5+ years of experience in Software Testing, QA Automation, or API Test Automation, with hands-on experience in API testing tools such as Postman, SoapUI, Rest Assured, and Swagger/OpenAPI. The candidate should have 3+ years of experience developing and maintaining automation frameworks using Selenium Web Driver and C#, 2+ years of experience with BDD frameworks such as Spec Flow, Cucumber, or similar tools, and 2+ years of experience with test automation frameworks such as NUnit, JUnit, TestNG, or PyTest.

Additionally, the candidate should have 2+ years of experience with source control tools such as Git and Azure Dev Ops, and exposure to cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
