Position
Delivery Driver – Non CDL (Moore Supply Company, Arlington, TX). Pay ranges from $21 to $24 per hour.
About the RoleYou will operate trucks safely in compliance with company rules, applicable laws, and regulations.
Responsibilities include:
- Loading the truck at the Profit Center with Hajoca merchandise.
- Securing the load and ensuring necessary equipment for unloading is available.
- Understanding shipping documents and ensuring order accuracy.
- Unloading delivery items, obtaining signatures, and securing payments for cash sales.
- Resolving shipping discrepancies with customers.
- Collecting sales leads from prospective customers.
- Inspecting the truck and keeping it clean.
- Reporting mechanical issues to management.
- Completing the Driver’s Daily Vehicle Inspection Report when driving a vehicle with a GVWR of 10,001 lbs. or more.
- Storing keys in the approved location after use.
- Completing required safety and compliance training.
- Performing other duties as assigned.
- Drive a vehicle over 10,000 lbs. non‑CDL.
- Minimum age 21.
- Valid driver’s license and good driving record (Authorized Driver).
- Pass Department of Transportation physical examination (at hire and every two years).
- Knowledge of motor vehicle laws and DOT regulations.
- Safety awareness in warehouse/material‑handling environment.
- Positive customer/vendor relationships and calm under stress.
- Basic warehouse equipment operation and computer systems use.
- Read, write, speak, and understand English.
- Basic math skills.
