As a Pickup & Delivery Driver, you will safely operate a Fed Ex-branded step van or box truck to deliver and pick up packages from residential and commercial customers. As a Fed Ex Delivery Driver
, you will operate a Fed Ex-branded step van or box truck while completing assigned local delivery and pickup routes.

• Safely operate a step van or box truck on assigned local routes.
• Deliver and pick up packages from residential and commercial customers
  .
• Complete daily delivery and pickup routes safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
• Load, sort, organize, and secure packages in the delivery vehicle.
• Use handheld scanners, mobile devices, GPS, and other delivery technology to complete stops and maintain accurate records.
• Organize packages to improve route efficiency, productivity, and delivery time

• Provide professional, courteous customer service at every residential and commercial stop.
• Follow Fed Ex Ground procedures

  , DOT regulations, and transportation safety requirements.
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns.
• Maintain accurate delivery records, manifests, and required documentation.
• Safely lift, carry, load, and unload packages weighing up to 150 lbs.
• Maintain excellent attendance and punctuality.
• Work independently while meeting route productivity, safety, delivery, and service expectations

• Follow all procedures for vehicle operation, package handling, customer service, and workplace safety.

• Must be 21 years of age or older
  .
• Valid driver's license.
• Clean driving record
  .
• At least 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience
  .
• Ability to safely lift and move packages weighing up to 150 lbs.
• Ability to pass a DOT physical and meet applicable Department of Transportation requirements.
• Ability to pass a 7-year background check
  .Ability to pass required pre-employment and random drug screenings
  .
• Reliable transportation to and from the terminal.
• Strong attendance, dependability, and punctuality.
• Weekend availability required.
• No major moving violations, license suspensions, or other disqualifying driving offenses within the past three years.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced delivery environment

• Ability to provide professional customer service and communicate effectively with customers and management.
