ROLE AND PURPOSE:
To assist with receiving, inventory, and distribution of instructional materials to campuses in the school district.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education/Certification:
- High School Diploma/GED from an accredited institution, required.
- Must be 18 or older.
- Valid Texas Driver's License and a satisfactory driving record.
- Warehouse experience preferred but not required.
I. Instructional Materials Support
- Receive deliveries from publishers of instructional materials.
- Inventory and barcode appropriate materials.
- Count and prepare for distribution of instructional materials to the campuses.
- Deliver and pick up instructional materials around the district.
- Have no more than five total absences without prior approval
- Must be able to work well in a group setting.
- Assume all other duties as assigned to serve the needs as determined to be in the best interest of the AISD.
- Maintain effective and positive public relations rapport within assigned department and with all other areas of contact.
- Limit use of personal devices (cell phones) while working.
- None.
- All of the following but not limited to pallet jack, power lift, forklift (if certified) handcarts, etc.
MENTAL DEMANDS / PHYSICAL DEMANDS / ENVIRONMENTAL FACTORS:
- Posture:standing 8 hours per day; occasional kneeling, squatting, bending, and stooping, twisting, reaching above head and shoulder.
- Motion: walking, climbing stairs and ladders
- Lifting: Regular lifting and carrying (up to 50 pounds unassisted)
- Environment: Work inside and outside (exposure to sun, heat, cold, and inclement weather, including un-air conditioned warehouse); exposure to noise
- Mental Demands: Work with frequent interruptions; maintain emotional control under stress.

Days worked will depend on the District's needs. Temporary positions pay the minimum of the range listed above.
