The Partnership for Supply Chain Management (PFSCM) focuses on strengthening and managing secure, reliable, cost‑effective, and sustainable global supply chains to enhance health and well‑being in low‑ and middle‑income countries by increasing access to quality and affordable health products. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for General Ledger reconciliations and reporting. The role requires outstanding skills in Power BI and Excel, especially large spreadsheets, and a good understanding of an automated accounting system and general accounting principles.
Specific Responsibilities- Costpoint administration
- Revenue adjustments in Costpoint
- Internal cash transfers between PFSCM bank accounts
- Bank reconciliation
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts
- Record received funds for all PFSCM projects timely
- Project reconciliation for project close‑out
- Deferred revenue reporting
- 4PL financial statements
- Reconcile cash accounts for Global Fund projects and other PFSCM small clients with funds received and expensed monthly
- Investigate and resolve all discrepancies and variances
- Prepare and record journal entries as needed
- Approve and post accounting documents in Costpoint
- Prepare month‑end/year‑end close
- Assist with annual financial audit and prepare various audit schedules
- Maintain and update electronic folders on shared Google Drive
- Provide support to other accountants and finance team
- Serve as a backup for accounts payable, receivable, and/or payroll as necessary
- Participate in special projects as required
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field (Master’s preferred)
- CPA certification required
- Experience in audit firms preferred
- 5+ years of General Ledger management experience, including computerized accounting system;
Costpoint knowledge preferred - Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Power BI
- Must be authorized to work in the United States of America
- Strong technical accounting knowledge and familiarity with automated accounting systems
- Proficient in data analysis and reporting tools
- Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills;
English fluency required - Ability to work across disciplines, audiences, and diverse international locations
- Experience with continuous improvement initiatives and change management activities
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail; ability to plan, prioritize, and implement day‑to‑day operations timely in a fast‑moving, dynamic environment
- Strong action management and ability to manage projects cost‑efficiently; resourceful, mature judgment, and sound decision‑making under pressure
