Job Description Corporate Senior Accountant - Arlington, VA### Overview Beacon Hill Financial has partnered with a client in Arlington, VA in their search for a Corporate Senior Accountant to join their team. This fully onsite role is responsible for supporting corporate accounting operations, financial reporting, and month-end close activities while ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records. The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and experienced in a fast-paced corporate environment.

Key Responsibilities
* Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and general ledger activity.
* Lead key aspects of the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.
* Assist with the preparation of financial statements, management reporting, and variance analysis.
* Analyze financial data and support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning initiatives.
* Ensure compliance with GAAP, internal controls, and company accounting policies.
* Support audit processes by preparing schedules, documentation, and responding to auditor requests.
* Assist with revenue recognition, accruals, and other technical accounting matters as needed.
* Identify and implement process improvements to enhance accounting efficiency and reporting accuracy.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial reporting and business objectives.### Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
* Corporate accounting or SaaS industry experience preferred.
* Strong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, and general ledger accounting.
* Experience with ERP systems and advanced Microsoft Excel skills preferred.
* Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills with high attention to detail.
* Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
