Senior Revenue Accountant

Location:

Arlington, VA | In office, Monday - Friday

• Preparation of monthly journal entries and supporting schedules and review of monthly financial results.
• Accounts receivable analysis and preparation of the allowance for credit losses.
• Assistance in a variety of aspects of the Enterprise Resource Planning system implementation.
• Assistance with special projects within the department or as part of cross‑functional teams.
• Research technical accounting issues.
• Work with external auditors and facilitate review of the close process, account reconciliations and variance analyses.
• Ensure timely monthly close and accurate monthly results.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance from an accredited, not‑for‑profit, in‑person college/university.
• A track record of commitment to prior employers.
• 5+ years of relevant professional experience with at least 3+ years of accounting experience working in a large international public company and/or Big 4 accounting firm.
• Experience preparing or reviewing monthly journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Process implementation experience.
• Strong project management, time management, and organizational skills.
• General knowledge of GAAP guidelines and ability to enhance knowledge and apply to a variety of situations.
• Familiarity with systems and optimizing use of systems to generate data for analyses.
• Strong Excel skills required.

• CPA or CPA candidate.
• Experience with Oracle ERP a plus.
• Demonstrated working knowledge of ASC 606 a plus.
