Join our team as a Staff Accountant and gain hands‑on experience across core accounting functions. This entry‑level, part‑time (20-25 hrs. per week) role offers exposure to reconciliations, accounts payable, financial reporting, and close processes—ideal for someone looking to build a strong foundation in accounting while contributing to meaningful work.
What You’ll Do- Reconcile and record daily bank transactions in the general ledger
- Process accounts payable in compliance with policies
- Support monthly, quarterly, and year‑end close activities
- Prepare financial reports and statements
- Assist with internal requests (e.g., check reissues/voids)
- Contribute to ad hoc projects
- Pursuing or recently completed degree in Accounting (or related field)
- Understanding of accounting fundamentals (debits/credits, GL, reconciliations)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Excel and Word
- Effective communication and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Initiative to learn and grow, with willingness to ask questions
- Broad exposure to real‑world accounting operations
