Temporary Senior Accountant

Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society is seeking a detail-oriented Temporary Senior Accountant to support financial operations and reporting within a dynamic, nonprofit environment. This role is responsible for preparing journal entries, reconciling accounts, assisting with month-end close, and supporting financial statement preparation in accordance with GAAP.
The ideal candidate holds a bachelor's degree in accounting or finance and has 3–5 years of relevant experience in a nonprofit organization. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in Excel are essential. Experience with ERP systems and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively are highly valued.
This opportunity will remain open until filled. Must be able to begin employment within 30 days of job offer. Employment is contingent upon successful completion of background screening.
