Duties Help

• Administer and conduct the day-to-day operation and maintenance of financial accounts which are the basis for the preparation of key statements such as trial balances used to prepare audited financial statements.

Qualifications

GS-12 Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
Perform, administer, and conduct the daily operation and maintenance of financial accounts, monitor and review data for accuracy, prepare statements and reports, perform diverse fund control activities to better ensure operations are up to standard and funds are properly disbursed. Establish criteria and techniques to improve the accounting process and meeting established guidance, and collaborating with various stakeholders within the organization to understand and troubleshoot accounting related matters.

GS-11 Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
Perform technical research and document the results, perform general ledger accounting in order to prepare or review related work products, utilizing data analytics tools to perform various reviews and tasks; executing and documenting internal controls central to accounting operations in accordance with authoritative guidance.
