Payroll Specialist (part time) | Hybrid in DMV area
LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a client to identify a detail‑oriented Payroll Specialist to support payroll operations on a part‑time basis. This role is ideal for someone with strong payroll processing experience who is comfortable working independently and has hands‑on experience with Paycom.
What You'll DoProcess multi‑state payroll accurately and on schedule using Paycom
Review and audit timesheets, earnings, deductions, and payroll adjustments
Maintain employee payroll records and ensure data accuracy
Assist with new hire, termination, and employee status changes in the payroll system
Research and resolve payroll discrepancies and employee inquiries
Support compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations
Generate payroll reports and assist with audits as needed
Partner with HR and Finance teams to ensure seamless payroll processing
2+ years of payroll processing experience
Strong experience using Paycom
Knowledge of payroll taxes, wage laws, and compliance requirements
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
Strong communication and organizational skills
CPP certification is a plus but not required
Flexible part‑time schedule (up to 20 hours per week)

Pay Details: $25.00 to $35.00 per hour
