Administrative Assistant III - Active Secret security clearance required for this position.
en Genius is seeking an Administrative Assistant to support a prospective Federal Client in Arlington, VA. This position is contingent upon contract award. The role requires an experienced administrative professional capable of providing high-level executive support in a classified government environment.
Responsibilities- Provide high-level administrative support to government leadership by managing calendars, creating and accepting meeting invitations, coordinating visit requests, and de-conflicting schedules.
- Manage emails, telephone calls, faxes, and other messages to assist in coordinating the schedules of government personnel.
- Ensure all personnel have the required access to the building and Information Technology (IT) systems.
- Process and track IT equipment and service requests.
- Conduct research and prepare statistical reports, briefing materials, and information requests as directed by government personnel.
- Manager logistics for government-sponsored events including conferences, executive meetings, technology demonstrations, workshops, and off-site events.
- Maintain file structures on both classified and unclassified systems in an organized manner that enables efficient access to and retrieval of documentation.
- Provide technical and programmatic input to program summaries, review briefings/presentations, and related documents.
- 6+ years of experience providing high-level administrative support in a government or large organizational setting.
- Experience managing executive calendars, coordinating domestic and international travel, and handling high-volume communications for senior leadership.
- Experience conducting research and preparing reports, briefings, and information requests.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
- High school diploma.
- Prior experience supporting a federal government office in an administrative capacity.
- Experience supporting classified meetings and navigating classified IT environments.
- Active Secret security clearance required. Must be in place at contract start date. Verification will be required.
