Responsibilities

  • Assist in reviewing and preparing written documents and procedures related to program management and assessment.
  • Research, compile, summarize, and report information for leadership and stakeholder review.
  • Support program applicants and landlords with routine inquiries and technical portal assistance.
  • Prepare monthly reexamination packets for mailing.
  • Process and scan incoming mail, attach files in Yardi, and manage archiving processes.
  • Coordinate schedules and meetings for informal review/hearing panels.
  • Manage supply orders and serve as note taker during meetings.
  • Perform administrative duties such as typing, editing, copying, reviewing documents, answering phones, managing emails, and maintaining records and files.
  • Respond to information requests via phone and email.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Extensive knowledge of office procedures and customer service practices.
  • Strong reading comprehension and attention to detail.
  • Business writing skills, including proper English usage, vocabulary, spelling, punctuation, and grammar.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for interacting with diverse county staff and citizens.
  • Intermediate proficiency with Outlook, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), mail merges, and electronic/hard copy files.
  • Familiarity with creating surveys via tools like doodle polls or Survey Monkey.
  • Problem‑solving skills to gather relevant information for resolving general issues.
  • Ability to comply with confidentiality requirements.
  • Preferred qualifications include successful college coursework from an accredited institution or experience with community‑based programs.
