Position SummaryWe are looking for a passionate clerical/administrative employee who is interested in growing with us. The successful candidate will prepare, transcribe, transfer, systematize, and preserve both written and computerized communications and records; gather and distribute information; operate office machines; store and account for materials; support projects that require research and preparation of briefing charts and other presentation materials; operate computerized business systems for recording labor hours;
perform data entry and mining of business systems for the administration of ship repair and gathering performance metrics; and provide administrative support services to ensure efficient office operations and management.
- Digitizing and organizing documents.
- Inputting data and/or metadata into databases and other documents.
- Collating, transcribing, and reviewing relevant documents.
- Developing and designing document templates.
- Supporting the organization and development of SOPs and desk guides.
- Collecting photographs, images, and other digital media for use in historical products.
- Assisting with branch information technology needs.
- Editing written documents and fact checking.
- Providing office coverage, task management and follow‑up of phone calls, meetings, email requests, and various other forms of correspondence.
- Ensuring that all tasks are completed on schedule and according to expectations.
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience performing administrative support services within the last five years.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong Microsoft skills, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Demonstrated ability to digitize, organize, and manage documents.
- Experience with data entry, database input, and business system operations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow up on tasks to completion.
