Administrative Assistant

Location: Arlington, VA

Schedule: 30–35 Hours Per Week

Our client is seeking a highly organized, proactive, and professional Administrative Assistant to provide direct executive-level support to a senior organizational leader. This is an excellent opportunity for an administrative professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys managing multiple priorities, and can handle sensitive information with the highest level of discretion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a complex calendar, coordinating meetings, appointments, and daily schedules.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact, handling correspondence, phone calls, and visitor inquiries professionally and efficiently.
  • Assist with planning, coordinating, and executing organizational events and special projects.
  • Provide comprehensive administrative support, including document preparation, scheduling, and office coordination.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
  • Anticipate administrative needs and proactively resolve scheduling or logistical challenges.
  • Collaborate with internal staff and external stakeholders to support organizational objectives.
Qualifications
  • 2–4 years of administrative support experience required.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment when handling sensitive information.
  • Self-starter who can work independently and manage competing priorities with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and standard office applications.
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
Additional Requirements
  • Availability to work approximately 6.5 hours per day with a 30-minute break.
  • Ability to work onsite
  • Flexibility to provide occasional support for special events, including rare Saturday commitments.
