Position Overview
Seeking a Junior Action Officer to support in the planning, coordination, and execution of office activities. The selected candidate will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to support the development and implementation of modeling and simulation initiatives aligned with the mission.
The Action Officer will work closely with Government and contractor personnel to provide comprehensive technical and administrative support to leadership.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate with stakeholders across DARPA, DoW, and the military
- Prepare status reports, management summaries, and briefing materials
- Develop agendas, read‑ahead materials, and program documentation
- Support leadership calendar management, scheduling, and prioritization
- Facilitate internal and external communications, including meetings, events, and engagements
- Provide administrative, operational, and office support to leadership
- Identify issues, recommend solutions, and execute actions in a timely manner
- Education: Bachelors degree
- Clearance: Active Secret clearance required; ability to obtain TS/SCI (TS/SCI preferred)
- Experience: 3‑5 years of relevant experience in logistics, program management, and/or administrative support
- Experience supporting military or federal government organizations
- Prior military service and/or staffer experience (strongly preferred)
- Experience supporting senior leadership or executive‑level staff
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to interact effectively across DoD, military, and industry stakeholders
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, SharePoint, Teams)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
On-site (majority of the time)
