This position is being filled under Direct Hire Authority (DHA) for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce, in accordance with Section 7, Direct Hire Auth 5 U.S.C. § 9905, 6/23/2023. Please read this Public Notice in its entirety prior to submitting your application for consideration. Incumbents typical work assignments may include the following:
- Manages a 14-million-square-foot administrative space portfolio across 140 National Capitol Region (NCR) facilities, overseeing the assignment, accounting, and disposal of space for Federal tenants.
- Conducts on-site utilization surveys and reviews agency requirements against DoD Space Occupancy Standards and Anti-terrorism/Force Protection (AT/FP) security regulations to optimize space efficiency.
- Develops procedures, techniques, and drafting program policies for design requirements, furniture authorization, and space realignment to resolve unique portfolio issues.
- Updates and maintains critical space management data using CAD, relational databases (MS Access), and FRPM applications to ensure precise tracking and reporting.
