MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Provides administrative support such as monitoring and tracking departmental budget and expenses, student files, marketing/communication. Prepares purchase requisitions; processes invoices and check requests; runs monthly financial reports to balance budget; coordinates travel reimbursements; and maintains databases and confidentiality of data.
Provides day-to-day support such as maintaining calendars, greeting visitors, providing general information regarding the university and procedures, answering phone calls and email queries, drafting correspondence for manager’s approval, ordering supplies, and helping organize special events.
Leads special projects and functions as assigned.
OTHER DUTIES AND ASSIGNMENTS Performs other work-related duties as assigned.
JOB REQUIREMENTS Education
Must hold a high school diploma/ GED;
Bachelor’s degree (BA, BS, etc.) preferred
Experience2 to 3 years of related experience. Supporting programs and/or Program Directors. Experience in higher education a plus.
Licenses or Certifications None Financial Responsibility None.
Supervision None.
Special Knowledge Microsoft Office to include proficient skills in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
