Role Overview
RTX BBN Technologies seeks a full‑time Administrative Associate to support the Professional Office Support Team (POST) in our Arlington, Virginia office. This on‑site role requires a U.S. citizen and includes no security clearance requirements. The position offers the opportunity to work closely with senior leaders and technical staff across multiple business units.
What You Will Do- Provide administrative support to senior leaders and employees in the Arlington business unit.
- Answer main phone line, manage a multipoint phone system, and serve as backup for other locations.
- Register and greet visitors using the approved Visitor Management System, handle packages, and maintain front‑desk security protocols.
- Maintain the reception area, kitchen, and supply inventories; order supplies and manage inventory logs.
- Coordinate meetings, provide travel arrangements, process trip/expense reports, and handle vendor reimbursements.
- Assist with new‑employee onboarding, interview scheduling, and office moves.
- Support Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) initiatives, including quarterly audits and property inventory barcoding.
- Maintain document repositories, assist with exports paperwork, and participate in administrative projects across the business.
- Provide general clerical duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent; AA/AS degree or 2‑year post‑secondary training preferred.
- Minimum 4 years of relevant administrative experience.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 applications.
- Strong organizational, customer‑service, and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask, pay attention to detail, and work effectively with colleagues at all levels.
- Physical ability to lift, carry, or move up to 27 lbs and to perform office/setup tasks.
- U.S. Person eligible for necessary export authorization.
- Competitive salary range: $47,700 – $90,900 USD.
