Senior Supply Chain Manager, Global Procurement Organization; GPO

Amazon's Global Procurement Organization (GPO) seeks a Senior Supply Chain Manager to drive strategic initiatives across procurement operations. This position leads complex, cross‑functional projects that optimize processes, enhance operational efficiency, and build organizational capabilities at scale.

• Lead complex initiatives independently with minimal guidance, working both tactically and strategically across GPO operations at country, regional, and cross‑regional levels.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including Operations, Transportation, Procurement, Finance, Risk, Business Strategy, Technology, and Engineering to deliver business transformations from initiation through successful implementation.
• Create mechanisms and metrics to track performance, measure benefit realization, and drive continuous improvement across the organization.
• Analyze complex data using advanced Excel, SQL, and database tools to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for strategic improvement.
• Influence organizational goals by working across multiple stakeholder teams, functions, and leaders, extending influence across teams.
• Lead process improvements by proposing network‑wide solutions that improve and drive operational excellence best practices.
• Provide strategic direction and serve as escalation point for complex challenges, finding paths forward in difficult situations.

The Global Procurement Organization manages procurement operations across Amazon's diverse business units, driving efficiency, innovation, and value creation through world‑class procurement capabilities that support Amazon's mission to be Earth's most customer‑centric company.

• 5+ years of program or project management experience.
• 5+ years of supply chain experience.
• Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements.
• Experience owning program strategy, end‑to‑end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership.
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of program or project management experience.
• Experience dealing well with ambiguity, prioritizing needs, and delivering measurable results in an agile environment.

• 5+ years of driving process improvements experience.
• Master's degree or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field.
• Experience managing complex projects and/or programs within a matrix environment.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and process improvement methodologies.

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
