Position: Contract Specialist I

Job Summary

Alluvionic seeks a Contract Specialist I to support our U.S. Marshals Service (USMS) contract in the Procurement Division (PD). The position will liaise with Federal Employees, Contractors, and Divisions throughout the U.S. Marshals Service.

Eligibility

Must be a U.S. citizen and hold a Public Trust clearance. This is an onsite position.

Responsibilities

Conduct contract reviews, assist with cradle-to-grave operations, manage order modifications, and handle close-outs.
Input contracts, task orders, and purchase orders into the Unified Financial Management System (UFMS).
Assist government contracting officers with large and small purchase contract actions.
Review solicitation packages for completeness.
Advise and provide program offices with examples of documents that should be included.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 24 hours of business credit.
Four years of relevant work experience with an emphasis on contract close-outs.
Working knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR 8, 12, and 15).
FAC-C Level II or DAWIA Level II is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

Recent experience as a Federal Contracting Officer/Specialist.
Experience with 100% Small Business Set Aside.
Experience with 30-day Procurement Action Lead Time (PALT).
