To support CTA member recruitment, engagement, and growth.
Responsibilities- Develop and achieve goals related to membership recruitment and onboarding.
- Work closely with the Sr. Director, Membership Development to create a strategic prospect pipeline and develop recruitment initiatives.
- Travel when needed to meet with prospects and engage strategic members further in CTA.
- Manage a holistic onboarding process to support retention and customized engagement of member companies within CTA.
- Develop innovative approaches and execute plans to target strategic prospects and secure new CTA members.
- Research, gather, and maintain market intelligence and work collaboratively with CTA staff from other departments to identify and pursue member prospects.
- Maintain a lead‑generation database collaboratively with a Membership Development Coordinator and assist with providing reporting and forecasts.
- Work with Marketing to develop messaging and collateral for recruitment on CTA.tech and other platforms related to recruitment of new CTA members.
- Collaborate with other departments to support lead generation and recruitment.
- Support ongoing department projects and initiatives.
- Manage Membership Development Coordinator and provide professional coaching and skillset development.
- Other duties as required by business needs and assigned.
- 7-10 years of appropriate work experience with association membership development, or sales required.
- Previous association, consumer tech industry, or sales and marketing experience preferred.
- Experience managing and developing staff preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, communication, marketing, or related field preferred or commensurate experience.
- Must have excellent communication skills (written and oral).
- Thoughtful self‑starter with the ability to see the big picture and translate strategy into an organized and actionable plan.
- Strong planning and time management skills. This position requires a high level of prioritization and self‑motivation.
- Strong team player with consensus building skills.
- Strong organizational skills with acute attention to detail.
- Strong customer service and follow‑up.
The anticipated salary range for this position is $110,000 – $120,000, with final compensation determined based on experience, skills, and internal equity. This role may be eligible for bonus or additional compensation where applicable.
