Overview
Accelerate cloud computing adoption at the Enterprise level as a Senior Proposal Manager for the Worldwide Public Sector team d efforts to deliver game‑changing solutions to U.S. National Security customers, creating strategies to build mindshare and broad use of Amazon’s cloud services. Responsibilities include working with AWS Capture and Sales teams to develop winning, innovative proposals, written responses for RFIs/RFQs/RFPs (RFx), oral presentations and demonstrations, unsolicited documents and white papers.
Key Responsibilities- Work collaboratively to identify and write content for RFx responses
- Craft compelling proposal narratives synthesizing existing content and new inputs from SMEs, aligned with strategic proposal objectives
- Own proposal content development for distinct RFx sections, from ideation to final review
- Independently gather, organize, and synthesize information from diverse AWS stakeholders
- Contribute to proposal solutioning and strategy development sessions, asking clarifying questions to guide content development
- Curate, grow, and update the team library of approved content to maximize reuse effectiveness
- Review final proposal documents for editing and content completeness
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives related to the above responsibilities
- Create documents that meet compliance requirements, align with sales objectives, and encourage government customers to adopt AWS Cloud
We deliver high‑quality, persuasive content, create clear and compliant proposals, and continually improve writing best practices for external and internal customers. Our work supports long‑term customer success while allowing reuse and scalability of content.
Basic Qualifications- 5+ years of program management, workforce strategy development, or metrics‑driven decision‑making experience
- 5+ years of Go‑To‑Market, Business Development, Sales, or Consulting experience
- Experience managing programs across cross‑functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
- Experience explaining complex technical concepts to various business and technical audiences
- Experience presenting to both technical and non‑technical executive audiences
- Experience leading complex, multi‑year initiatives that may be cross‑functional
- Bachelor's degree
- Current, active U.S. Government Security Clearance of TS/SCI with Polygraph
- Experience interpreting data and making business recommendations
- Experience working with Core Cloud Technology Services (Compute, Edge, Hybrid, Security, Networking)
- Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level
- Experience interpreting data and making business recommendations across leadership and cross‑functional teams
- Experience identifying, negotiating, and executing complex legal agreements
