Job Description & How to Apply Below
Are you passionate about building programs that protect customers at scale? The North American Food Safety Team is looking for an Audit Manager to own and evolve our Audit Program across 300+ fulfillment sites. You'll design the strategic roadmap, scale third-party partnerships, and turn audit data into action-driving measurable improvements in food safety compliance. This role blends big-picture program strategy with hands-on vendor management, requiring someone who thrives in ambiguity, thinks in systems, and communicates with precision.
You'll partner across Operations, Food Safety, and senior leadership to ensure every site meets the bar-and then raise it. If you love building mechanisms that work at scale and making data tell a story, this is your role.
Key job responsibilities
- Design and implement the strategic vision for the Audit Program across North America, including long-term roadmap development, resource allocation strategies, and program evolution to support network growth
- Develop and drive adoption of innovative solutions to scale the audit program across 300+ sites, including establishment of new frameworks for third-party partnerships and risk-based audit methodologies
- Manage third-party vendors end-to-end: track KPIs, maintain contracts, and execute continuous improvement initiatives across the vendor portfolio.
- Define and oversee program success metrics, creating executive-level reporting structures that demonstrate business impact and compliance adherence to senior leadership
- Build and maintain strategic partnerships across the Food Safety Programs Team and key internal partners to drive program improvements, ensuring alignment with broader food safety goals and compliance requirements
- Author and present strategic narratives to senior leadership, articulating program vision, risks, and opportunities while effectively communicating complex data insights
- Drive continuous improvement through data-driven insights, implementing scalable solutions that address root causes of systemic issues
A day in the life
Your day starts reviewing audit performance dashboards and identifying trends across 300+ sites before attending meetings with third-party audit partners and internal stakeholders. Mornings involve validating corrective action robustness and pushing back on surface-level fixes. Afternoons include sharing data insights with cross-functional stakeholders, calibrating vendor auditors, and driving system improvements to audit tools and protocols. Days shift fast when trend data reveals emerging risks - requiring immediate coordination with site teams and leadership.
The day ends prioritizing open actions and ensuring the audit program continuously raises the bar.
