Key job responsibilities- Drive operational excellence initiatives to define roadmap plans, develop and manage implementation activities.
- Develop documentation and communications for program/process rollout and ongoing support.
- Establish channels for continuous feedback and improvement across the organization.
- Identify and mitigate potential risks and obstacles by collaborating closely with business partners, key stakeholders, and team members; ensuring Plan B’s are always in place.
- Actively seek out opportunities to optimize processes, reduce inefficiencies, and improve overall performance across the organization.
- Design processes and procedures that scale with the business’s growth in volume, complexity, and global geographic dispersion.
- Apply tools and techniques from Lean and Six Sigma to streamline processes, eliminate waste, and reduce variation.
- Utilize data to identify trends, root causes of problems, and measure the impact of improvement initiatives.
- Lead and support change initiatives to ensure successful adoption of new processes and practices.
- Work with teams across different departments to identify and implement improvements, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
- Bachelor's degree.
- 5+ years of experience in tax, finance, or a related analytical field.
- Lean‑Six Sigma Black Belt certification.
- Demonstrated track record of Six Sigma problem‑solving and analytical skills, and of achieving results in similar work or operational environments.
- Experience with technology transformation initiatives.
- Experience in procurement, negotiation, sales, consulting, supply chain, product/project management, or marketing.
- 3+ years of experience leading continuous improvement initiatives, LEAN/Six Sigma, or Kaizen initiatives.
- Expertise in operational excellence methodologies.

The base salary range for this position is 95,400.00 – USD annually. Your Amazon package will include sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location. Amazon also offers comprehensive benefits including health insurance (medical, dental, vision, prescription, Basic Life & AD&D insurance and optional supplemental life plans, EAP, mental health support, medical advice line, flexible spending accounts, adoption and surrogacy reimbursement coverage), 401(k) matching, paid time off, and parental leave.
