Manager, Contracts Management – Level 5
As a Contracts Manager within the Air Mobility and Maritime Missions Aero Line of Business, you will provide strategic leadership and oversight of contract management activities, ensuring alignment with business objectives, customer requirements, and regulatory compliance.
This role requires a proactive leader who can operate in a dynamic environment, build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, and support mission success. The position requires approximately 25% domestic travel and may involve additional international travel.
Core Responsibilities- Lead and manage contracts activities within the Air Mobility and Maritime Missions Aero LOB.
- Provide strategic guidance and oversight on contract execution, compliance, and risk management.
- Serve as a key interface with internal stakeholders and customers to support program objectives.
- Influence customer positions and negotiations to achieve favorable business outcomes.
- Ensure adherence to contractual requirements, company policies, and regulatory guidelines.
- Support program execution through effective contract interpretation, issue resolution, and decision-making.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally with program management, finance, legal, and other teams to drive alignment and performance.
- Deliver high‑quality customer service while maintaining strong, professional relationships.
- Lead and mentor team members, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Support business priorities through domestic and international travel as required.

You bring a track record of successfully leading teams, managing complex contracts, and navigating customer relationships with confidence and professionalism. You have strong experience influencing stakeholders, including customers, and are skilled at balancing business objectives with compliance requirements. You are known for sound judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to operate effectively in fast‑paced, high‑visibility environments.
You are a collaborative partner who values teamwork and communication, and you take pride in delivering exceptional customer service while driving results that support mission success.
Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
Basic Qualifications- Experience in reviewing terms and conditions.
- Experience with USG (FAR/DFARS) in all aspects of the contract life cycle including proposals, administration, and close out.
- Negotiation experience.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline or five years experience in the absence of a Bachelor’s degree.
- Experience with Aero Proposal Tool Suite (APTS).
- Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced team environment and work well under pressure.
- Effective relationship‑building skills with peers, leadership, and customers.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to clearly recognize risk elements in business transactions, providing governance to the program team in carrying out the terms of the contract.
- Ability to make effective presentations to executive leadership.
This position requires a government security clearance. Must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Benefits and CompensationThe annual base salary range for this position in applicable states is $111,700 – $196,880.
