Business Operations Manager, Field Strategy and Operations

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is the leading cloud computing platform. AWS Professional Services (Pro Serve) builds a professional services team to work with customers globally. This role, Sr. Business Advisory Manager, supports Pro Serve leadership by evolving delivery health, analyzing results, and making business recommendations.

• Opportunity Pipeline Management: coordinate monthly pipeline and deal quality reviews with sales and Professional Services teams.
• Delivery Health Management: lead weekly inspections on active project delivery to ensure teams achieve engagement outcomes.
• Scale & Simplify Business Operations: develop and implement mechanisms for continuous improvement, process automation, and elimination.
• Work with internal stakeholders (Sales, Delivery, Finance, Global Business Operations) to collect business requirements and maintain methodologies, policies, and procedures.
• Provide leadership in P&L and cost analysis and improvement across the Pro Serve Team.
• Provide strategic guidance to Business Leaders, leveraging deep knowledge of best practices.
• Provide data‑driven insights on KPIs and standardized business metrics; manage dashboards, regional reports, and executive review documents.
• Lead and review the end‑to‑end execution of the annual planning process, including bookings, revenue, headcount, and goal planning.

• 10+ years of Microsoft Excel experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• Experience developing and implementing systems/tools for CRM, variable compensation, revenue reporting, forecasting, Salesforce automation, etc.
• Experience defining, refining, and implementing sales processes, procedures, and policies.
• 5+ years of finance, business management, and sales operations experience.

• Experience using Salesforce (or other CRM tool) or BI tools.
• Experience presenting to senior leadership.
• Experience identifying and solving complex problems through data analysis.

The base salary range for this position is listed as USD 133,900–181,200 annually (Fort Lauderdale VA and Herndon VA). The Amazon package includes sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs).
