Position: LEAD SECURITY COOPERATION ORGANIZATION (SCO) POLICY ANALYST

Lead Security Cooperation Organization Policy Analyst

As a LEAD SECURITY COOPERATION ORGANIZATION (SCO) POLICY ANALYST at the GS-0301-14 some of your typical work assignments may include:

  • Reviews changes to law, policies, and regulations pertaining to SCO operations and staffing of SC personnel working at U.S. Embassies to ensure that Department publications are up to date and accurately reflect approved policy and practices.
  • Leads the team by developing and staffing DoD directives and instructions, DSCA policies and procedures, and legislative language to establish processes for the employment and support of the DSCS.
  • Serves on or leads, inter- and intra-agency working groups impacting DSCS, SCO management, and multiple DoD organizations/agencies.
  • Incumbent leads a team supporting 1,500 civilians and military officers working at 140 U.S. embassies.
